أعلن بيب جوارديولا المدير الفني لفريق مانشستر سيتي خبرًا صادمًا عن اللاعب فرناندينيو، بعد تعرضه لإصابة في مباراة اليوم أمام بورتو في بطولة دوري أبطال أوروبا.

وتلاقى الفريقان في الجولة الأولى من دور المجموعات على ملعب الاتحاد، حيث فاز مانشستر سيتي بثلاثة أهداف مقابل هدف. أهداف مانشستر سيتي وبورتو

وشهدت اللحظات الأخيرة من المباراة تعرض فرناندينيو للإصابة، وخرج في الدقيقة 94.

وقال جوارديولا، في تصريحات نشرتها شبكة “بي بي سي” العالمية: “خبر سيء، تعرض فرناندينيو لإصابة في نفس المكان الذي اُصيب فيه من قبل في ساقه”.

وأضاف: “سيغيب لفترة طويلة من الوقت تتراوح بين 4 إلى 6 أسابيع”.

وواصل: “نعم إنها ضربة كبيرة لنا، مع هذا الكم من المباريات وعدم وجود أشخاص في مركزه (الوسط الدفاعي)، لكن هذا هو ما حدث”.

It’s all come crashing down for Martin O’Neill at Forest and now it’s time for the club to find a replacement. Results in the key stage of the season simply haven’t been good enough.

His side have shown a real lack of character and bottle over the last few months. Their away form has been dreadful, with their last win on the road coming on November 24 against Hull. That’s pathetic and nowhere near the standard Forest fans expect.

Their 3-0 loss at Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday, following their defeat to 22nd-placed Rotherham the week before just proves the wheels have well and truly fallen off, and there’s no way back for O’Neill. He may be a club legend, but he needs to leave.

From a positive position at the start of the year, they’re now six points away from sixth in the tenth spot, alongside with Preston, Hull and Swansea on the same points. That doesn’t seem far, but the sheer number of teams fighting for the play-offs means a slip up is fatal, and they’ve had far too many.

The players just don’t seem to be putting it all in anymore, and it’s a sign that the manager’s time is up. They should find a replacement now so they can start preparing for a promotion push next season.

If they leave it too late, plans won’t be in place for summer and they could face another campaign like this one. It’s not good enough for their play-off hopes to be over already.

The fans know it, the board knows it and Martin O’Neill will know it too.

Filling in for Petr Cech was never going to be easy, but Bernd Leno is making it look like a walk in the park.

The summer signing from Bayer Leverkusen has taken some time to get adjusted to life in north London, but we’re finally seeing the best from German international, who has arguably been Arsenal’s best player since the turn of the year.

His performances against Manchester United and Tottenham won him Arsenal’s Player of the Month for the month of March, and last night against Watford Leno was against at his brilliant best, keeping the club’s first clean sheet away from home all season.

Leno, who is valued at £22.5 million (by Transfermarkt), has filled the mantle of Arsenal’s new number one perfectly, and his performances in recent months have made supporters all but forget about former goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, who was sold to Juventus in 2017 for a measly fee of £10 million as the Polish international asserted himself as one of the best shot-stoppers in world football.

Fans were outraged when Arsene Wenger allowed Szczesny to leave two years ago, but with Leno, the seasons of Cech faltering and conceding error after error have now been long forgotten, and at 27, the German keeper is only going to get better.

Leno has burst into life in the second half of the season, single handily keeping clean sheets for Arsenal and winning them vital points, and with time and a more solid defence, there’s no reason to believe that the keeper can be the number one in north London for many years to come.

ووفقًا للمركز الإعلامي لنادي بيراميدز فإن بعثة الفريق برئاسة ممدوم عيد وجهت الشكر إلى الوداد ورئيسه ومدير ملعب الوداد وجميع القائمين عليه، على استضافة تدريبات فريق الكرة والبعثة خلال الفترة الماضية استعدادًا لمباراة لنهائي كأس الكونفدرالية الإفريقية.

واستضاف ملعب الوداد المغربي في مدينة كازبلانكا ٣ تدريبات لفريق بيراميدز قبل سفره إلى مدينة الرباط العاصمة وخوض نهائي الكونفدرالية أمام نهضة بركان المغربي في اللقاء المحدد له يوم الأحد المقبل.

أعلن الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم “كاف” برئاسة أحمد أحمد، اليوم الخميس، تأجيل نصف نهائي ونهائي بطولة دوري أبطال إفريقيا لأجل غير مسمى.

البطولة يتبقى بها مباراتين فقط، وهما مواجهة الإياب للدور نصف النهائي بين الزمالك والرجاء المغربي، وموقعة النهائي التي تأهل إليها الأهلي رسميًا.

وكشف الكاف عبر حسابه الرسمي على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي “تويتر” عن تأجيل مباراة الزمالك والرجاء دون الكشف عن موعد محدد لها، مشددًا على أهمية سلامة لاعبي الفريق المغربي.

وفي السياق ذاته، أوضح الكاف أنه بناءً على طلب السلطات المصرية، تم تأجيل موعد المباراة النهائية لأجل غير مسمى.

وأشار البيان المقتضب الذي أعلنه الاتحاد الإفريقي، إلى أنه مازالت المناقشات بين جارية لتحديد أفضل موعد في التقويم يناسب الفرق المشاركة.

To say that Newcastle are inconsistent would be somewhat of an understatement but nevertheless, with the side capable of pulling out big results, what’s the problem, so long as they secure Premier League safety?

Of course, the fans’ main concern right now is what will happen to Rafa Benitez at the end of the season and more so, what they would do without him.

It’s an extremely sore topic to talk about but if the tables do turn and the Spaniard does sign a new deal, Newcastle fans can be very hopeful of remaining a Premier League outfit for a further few years at least.

Newcastle are clearly a team lacking in the presence of any real stars but what they all have is grit and determination to succeed as one.

One player who epitomises that when he does play is Jonjo Shelvey and he is a man Rafa should look to incorporate back in the starting line-up.

Shelvey, (who is valued at £13.5 million on Transfermarkt) was once Newcastle’s best midfield maestro but due to less than rational decision making and inconsistent form, the 27-year-old hasn’t started a game since October.

Out-of-favour is definitely where Jonjo Shelvey finds himself but should his future remain at St. James’ Park, he needs to be given a run of games from now until the end of the season, so he can prove either way to Rafa Benitez what he should do with him.

As a tough tackler and someone who leaves it all on the pitch, Shelvey has enjoyed some great times with Newcastle as his attributes are exactly what fans like to see from their players.

An outstanding away performance on Tuesday saw Newcastle United’s young lads seal their place in the Premier League Cup Final – a win in the final would cap off a wonderful season for Ben Dawson’s team.

The win came courtesy of goals from Kelland Watts, Cal Roberts and Elias Sorensen, Sorensen bagging his 20th of an incredibly productive season.

The Toon scored all of their goals in the second-half, Watts opened the scoring from the spot after Roberts was tripped, the young winger then added to the scoreline as he intercepted a weak back pass before finishing past Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

Danish Under 21 international Sorensen then wrapped up the win with ten minutes to go with a powerful strike from the edge-of-the-box.

The result was particularly impressive considering Leeds played a number of first team players, including Gaetano Berardi and Kalvin Phillips.

Magpies fans were quick to react on Twitter as they heaped praise on both the youngsters and Dawson, who has shown himself to be quite the coach this term.

وأنهى المصري البورسعيدي مسابقة الدوري المصري مُحتلا المركز السابع في جدول ترتيب الدوري الممتاز برصيد 48 نقطة، فيما هبط نادي مصر إلى دوري الدرجة الثانية بعدما احتل المركز الثامن عشر والأخير في جدول المسابقة برصيد 21 نقطة.
