What’s the word?

According to Football Insider, the 66-year-old is eyeing up a reunion with his former West Ham and Crystal Palace centre-back James Tomkins ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

It’s claimed that the experienced defender has slipped down the pecking order at Selhurst Park and Big Sam is keen to take advantage of this.

The 31-year-old cost the Eagles around £10m back in 2016, whilst he’s now valued at just £3.6m by Transfermarkt.

Massive mistake?

Allardyce has one massive job on his hands and starting in defence could be a good place to start. No team in the Premier League has leaked more than the 26 goals that have flown past Sam Johnstone this season.

Not even rock-bottom Sheffield United, the only team Albion have defeated.

However, a move for a player that has played just 70 minutes for the Palace U23s all term isn’t the right one to make. It could be a disaster waiting to happen.

In fact, Tomkins has only made their matchday squad in three of their 13 outings, per Transfermarkt.

Whilst in only 18 starts in the 2019/20 campaign, the Englishman averaged 1.6 tackles, 1.2 interceptions and 0.8 fouls per game, via WhoScored, which is worse returns than what the likes of Conor Gallagher and even Grady Diangana are managing in this struggling squad.

There’s clearly a firm relationship there between Allardyce and Tomkins – in 2015, the centre-back was tipped for England:

“Roy should look at James. He has really matured and is playing very well and consistently. “

And the Palace man backed Big Sam to pull them out of the mire in 2017, he said: “We’ll keep going and there is no better man in charge to get us out of this situation. We all believe in him and all the lads believe in each other; we’ve got a good dressing room with a lot of experience in there.”

Albion fans may remember him well too, as he silenced Solomon Rondon twice back in 2017 and 2018 under both Tony Pulis and Darren Moore.

Despite the obvious connection, Tomkins doesn’t seem like the ideal candidate to lead that struggling Baggies backline.

Segundo o promotor, o clube deverá dar esclarecimentos sobre o fato e poderá sofrer uma ação civil pública por manter essa relação com os torcedores organizados. No documento do inquérito, o MP cita a briga ocorrida em Mogi das Cruzes no último dia 17, no jogo entre São Paulo e União Rondonópolis, pela Copa São Paulo, afirmando que “as torcidas organizadas do clube investigado deram o seu show, cercando e agredindo policiais militares com ferro e outros objetos, causando danos que serão mais bem avaliados”.

Outro inquérito contra o clube pode ser aberto pela Polícia Civil a pedido do promotor Paulo Castilho., que fez a solicitação á Secretaria de Segurança Pública de São Paulo.

وواصل: “أنا متأكد ولديّ يقين أننا سنبلى بلاءً حسنًا مع برشلونة، هُناك إيمان به وبما يقوله وهذا مهم للغاية”.

وأتم تصريحاته قائلًا: “نحن الآن مع تشافي نتدرب بأكبر قدر من القوة والضغط ولدينا أفكار واضحة معه”.

According to popular club insiders WestHamFans.org, via Hammers News, the Irons negotiations for Slavia Prague striker Abdallah Sima have ‘accelerated’ due to ‘sudden’ interest in the player from Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United – prompting these supporters to buzz as this news emerges. 

Sima, who has been touted as a Hammers target in recent weeks as the club eye a new striker in January, could be another Prague star who makes the move to east London if the move can be completed.

A player that could follow in the footsteps of West Ham favourites Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal, the attacker is already showing huge promise – so much so he has turned the heads of GSB as a potential January addition.

As per this inside update, the club’s negotiations for his signature have sped up – and he is apparently far more likely to choose the east Londoners over alternative suitors due to his former colleagues.

Integrante do consórcio RDR (Recoma, Delta e Racional), que fez a primeira parte da construção, a empresa disse ainda que a intervenção para reforçar a cobertura não era necessária.

O Engenhão ficou fechado de março de 2013 até fevereiro de 2015. A Prefeitura do Rio e o consórcio Engenhão (Odebrecht e OAS), que finalizou a obra, reafirmaram a necessidade do fechamento e do reforço na cobertura.

A Racional respalda suas afirmações em laudos que encomendou a cinco especialistas brasileiros, contanto com engenheiros e arquitetos. This season has been a superb one for Tottenham so far. Jose Mourinho has done wonders with this team but he has two chief suspects to thank.

Harry Kane and Heung-min Son have very quickly established themselves as one of the most feared duos on the planet and have contributed to over 75% of Spurs’ goals this season.

The fact that Tottenham could strengthen in January, therefore, is a frightening prospect.

Whether it be in defence where Milan Skriniar continues to be linked or in attack where Diego Costa has become an option, broadening their title credentials will be of utmost importance this month.

One player they could sign is Bayer Leverkusen’s Leon Bailey. The winger has been touted with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks and has just switched his agent to the same individual who deals with Ryan Sessegnon.

Whether that serves as an omen remains to be seen but it’s promising he now has direct ties with Spurs.

Capable of playing on either wing, he’d be a fabulous support act for both Son and Kane, especially when you consider what he’s capable of.

Described as an “exceptional” player, one with “very rare” qualities according to Ronald de Boer, he possesses abilities that can frighten the life out of defenders.

His most recent performance for Leverkusen serves as a wonderful example of what he can do. As his team were defeated by Eintracht Frankfurt, Bailey was one of a few bright sparks for the visitors.

The 23-year-old was a real live wire and managed to perform a whopping seven successful dribbles. For context, Son’s highest tally in a single game this season has been just two.

Furthermore, Bailey was strong in one-on-one duels, prevailing with ten of the 14 he contested throughout his time on the pitch. A pass success rate of 77% proves he needs to be a little more careful in possession but he did his best to try and win the game.

The Frankfurt defence couldn’t live with him, bringing the Jamaican down for a foul on three separate occasions.

Valued at £26.5m, this is surely a move that Spurs can afford. Daniel Levy must pursue a deal in the coming weeks.

وأضاف: “فجأة بعد نزولي الكرة مرت بجانبي ورأيتها ولم أستطع أتحرك، فصعبت علي نفسي وسقطت على الأرض باكيًا، لأنني كنت في أفضل فترة في حياتي”.

وأردف: “لاعبو ليفربول حاولوا أن يوقفوني لأن فريقي كان متقدمًا، ولكن صلاح قال لهم تريزيجيه لا يسقط في الملعب إلا لو كان مُصابًا، وهو لا يدّعي أبدًا”.

وتابع: “كنت أتدرب منذ ثالث يوم بعد العملية وأنا جالس على الكرسي، لأن الكرة حياتي، والآن أنا أرقامي في التدريبات أفضل بكثير من قبل الإصابة، وجاهز للمشاركة، وفي أستون فيلا ينتظرون الدفع بي في الوقت المناسب”.

واستكمل: “منذ أن كنت في قطاع الناشئين بالنادي الأهلي ولا توجد لدينا ثقافة الهزيمة، لو لم نفز ببطولة فهي كارثة، كنا نفوز بخماسية وسداسية ويقول لنا المدرب بدر رجب إذهبوا إلى منازلكم ومن نتصل به فقط هو من سيعود”.

واستطرد: “نحن لا نكتفي بـ5 أو 6 بل نريد 12 و13 هدفًا، الأهلي هو من صنعني، وأنا الآن لم أعد أمثل نفسي في أوروبا، بل أمثل بلدي والنادي الأهلي”.

واستأنف: “تعرضت لإهانات كثيرة عندما انتقلت للعب في قاسم باشا التركي، للدرجة التي وصلت بوكيلي وأخي أن يطلبا مني العودة إلى مصر، وكان ردي أنني سأبقى، وبالفعل حصلت على أفضل لاعب وانتقلت إلى الدوري الإنجليزي، وكان هذا حلمًا كبيرًا”.

وأكد: “الدوري المصري قوي والمنافسة به شرسة والتصوير محترم، ولا أرى أن هناك مشكلة في التحكيم المصري، لابد أن نقف بجانب الحكام ونحترمهم لأن الجميع يرتكب أخطاء، إذا أدار حكمًا أجنبيًا مباراة محلية لا أحد يتحدث معه”.

وأضاف: “مباراة الزمالك والأهلي كانت قوية، كنت أتمنى أن تنتهي بنتيجة 5-1، كانت ستكون نتيجة تاريخية، ولكن الزمالك قدم مباراة جيدة وعاد وسجل هدفين، وكانت مباراة ديربي تليق بالكرة المصرية”.

وأتم: “العديد من لاعبي الأهلي والزمالك يستطيعون اللعب في الدوري الإنجليزي، مجدي أفشة ومحمد شريف وحمدي فتحي ومحمد الشناوي وأكرم توفيق، وفي الزمالك مصطفى فتحي وزيزو وطارق حامد ومحمود الونش، ولكن الفكرة في الإرادة وتحمل الغربة”.

Southampton centre-back Jannik Vestergaard has established himself as a key player in Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side so far this season and following Martin Keown’s comments on the Danish international, the Saints should prioritise tying him down to a new deal.

The pundit was full of praise for the former Borussia Monchengladbach man on talkSPORT recently, following his impressive start to the season, saying:

I’ve not seen a better central defender this season and I thought maybe that might be a player Jurgen Klopp might go after.”

“He reminds me of Van Dijk. If you look at the way they ping balls, the way he threads balls into midfield, he’s a big man. Of course, Southampton won’t want to let him go.”

Before picking up his injury, Vestergaard has been a mainstay in Southampton’s side this season, making 13 appearances in the top-flight and averaging a superb 7.27 rating, which is enough to rank him as their second-best performer in the Premier League.

The 28-year-old’s contract with the South Coast club is set to expire at the end of next season, so the Saints will surely be keen to ensure that he signs a new deal, otherwise, they potentially risk losing him for nothing in 2022.

It seemed impossible just six months ago, when Vestergaard was largely out of favour because of the flourishing partnership between Jan Bednarek and Jack Stephens, that the giant centre-back would become so important to this Southampton team but he is well on track to surpass his number of performances from last season.

However, since Stephens has come in for the Dane at centre-back, Southampton have not conceded a goal, so if the Englishman continues to impress, Vestergaard may struggle to get back into the first-team.

Still, the 28-year-old has proven himself to be an important player in this Southampton team and they must therefore consider offering him a new deal in the near future, perhaps even ahead of the likes of Danny Ings, who the club have seemingly been in negotiations with over a new deal for some time now.
