Nesta sexta, o Flamengo autorizou o meia, que embarca nesta noite para resolver as pendências da negociação e assinar com o Al-Hilal, da Arábia Saudita. A direção da Gávea informou, em nota, o liberação para o atleta de 26 anos viajar e resolver as pendências do acerto.

A oferta, que chegou há cerca de três semanas à direção rubro-negra e agradou o atleta e estafe. O clube, contudo, relutou em aceitá-la até o último momentos possíveis: a janela de transferência para a Arábia Saudita se encerra no sábado.

For the first two days, this was a pretty even game at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. On day three and four, though, Karnataka showed the form that swept them to the Ranji title last season, to comprehensively defeat traditional rivals Tamil Nadu.On the final morning, Stuart Binny showed off his hitting skills, launching boundary after boundary down the ground as Karnataka piled on 104 in less than 15 overs. Na ocasião, Sánchez fez de pênalti aos 51 minutos do segundo tempo e decretou a vitória para o Santos, por 1 a 0. O resultado positivo afastou o Peixe da zona do rebaixamento do Brasileiro de 2018.

-Me lembro muito bem. É uma boa recordação que guardo, pois é lindo relembrar meu primeiro gol com essa camisa. Foi muito emocionante pelo momento do jogo e também pela maneira como estávamos na tabela, pois vínhamos brigando para deixar a parte de baixo e aquela vitória foi importante para sair de perto da zona de rebaixamento- recordou o uruguaio, em entrevista ao site oficial do Santos.

Sánchez quer que a história se repita neste domingo, mas espera que o gol aconteça mais cedo para dar tranquilidade ao time santista na partida.

It had to be black magic. Tim Southee and Trent Boult were swinging a 70-over old ball on the fourth morning. Both ways. Their skill accounted for 13 of the 20 Sri Lankan wickets and confirmed Brendon McCullum’s Boxing Day assault as match winning. Christchurch witnessed New Zealand’s fifth victory in 2014, marking it their best year in Test history.A target of 105 appeared straightforward, but Sri Lanka created a few nervous moments for New Zealand along the way. A fluent Tom Latham was undone by a ripping turner from debutant offspinner Tharindu Kaushal and Hamish Rutherford was surprised by Shaminda Eranga’s extra bounce and lobbed a catch to gully.Sri Lanka strived hard for further inroads. Na última quarta-feira (11), o clube apresentou no período da tarde usando a área de coletiva dentro do CT do Cambirela o lateral-direito Danilo Boza, jogador de 21 anos de idade revelado na base do Mirassol e que, após passagem pelo Braga, de Portugal, chega por empréstimo do clube paulista ao Figueira.

Em suas primeiras palavras, além de explicar suas principais características, ele relata o quão importante é chegar a uma equipe que pode lhe dar a oportunidade de jogar uma competição nacional:

– É uma oportunidade muito boa (chegar ao Figueirense), importante para a minha carreira. Vim aqui pra ajudar o Figueirense da melhor forma possível. Estou à disposição do professor Eutrópio. Sou um lateral defensivo, mas que também apoia bastante o setor ofensivo. Gosto de participar do ataque. Atuo também como zagueiro. Participei bem de dois amistosos, fiz bons jogos. Já conversei com o Eutrópio, expliquei minhas características. Já estou adequado para ajudar o time da forma que ele precisar.

Matheus Destro comenta recuperação

Depois de realizar cirurgia no último dia 15 de agosto para se recuperar de fratura no tornozelo esquerdo, o lateral-esquerdo Matheus Destro intensificou os trabalhos de fisioterapia e aproveitou para elogiar o procedimento médico realizado.

Com a previsão de voltar somente em dois meses para os gramados, Matheus reconhece a lamentação do fato ter ocorrido justamente quando tinha o “domínio” da titularidade no setor ao passo que também entende a exposição natural a lesões no caso de qualquer atleta:

-Graças a Deus correu tudo bem. Os profissionais que me atenderam, Dr. Fernando Lima e Thiago Martins, fizeram um excelente trabalho e agora é dar sequência nesse processo de recuperação. Estão sendo dias intensos de tratamento para que o retorno seja o mais breve possível.

-Infelizmente são coisas que podem acontecer na nossa profissão. Fiquei muito chateado com a lesão e pelo momento que ela aconteceu. Queria estar em campo ajudando o clube e meus companheiros, mas vou continuar na torcida e ajudando no que estiver dentro do meu alcance – acrescentou Matheus Destro.

Allrounder White, 34, was a regular in the Ireland side for a decade and played in all but one of their matches at the 2007 World Cup, bowling the final over of their tied match against Zimbabwe.White, who appeared 231 times for his country, missed out on his third World Cup after picking up a finger injury. His last appearance came against Scotland in August.”It is with a heavy heart that I am retiring from representing Ireland on the international stage,” White said. “Over the last 15 years I have poured my heart and soul into Irish cricket and to play a part in undoubtedly one of the great success stories of Irish sport has been an incredible experience.”It had been my ambition to finish my international career at the 2015 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in the coming weeks, however, suffering a compound fracture of my right index finger in September meant that this was unfortunately not going to be possible.”Particularly strong in first-class cricket, where he averaged 52.80, White was a reliable presence in the middle order who could also bowl tidy offspin. He hit the winning runs when Ireland beat the touring West Indians in 2004 and the following month made 152 not out on first-class debut against Netherlands. As well as contributing to wins over Pakistan and Bangladesh at the 2007 World Cup, he was again part of the squad in 2011.White helped Ireland to four Intercontinental Cup victories, the most recent in 2013. His tally of 1552 runs in the competition puts him fourth on the leading run-scorers’ list. A schoolteacher by profession, White intends to continue playing domestically in Ireland for Instonians and Northern Knights.During White’s time, the sport has grown to the point that Ireland have a roadmap to playing Test cricket and are pushing for regular competition against Full Members.
